Royal Trek is a short and exciting trek via off beaten trail that allows you to witness some astounding views of majestic peaks in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is one of the spectacular journeys that take you deep into the lushness of mother nature with a wilderness of mountains all around. It commences from the foothills of Annapurna and traverses through the ethnic villages and rich ecosystem to follow a trail that offers some magnificent views of mountains in Annapurna region that includes Mt. Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna south, Macchapucchre Himal, Dhaulagiri Himal, Nilgiri and many more. This Trek is fruitful in many ways. The trail goes through a less crowded area with impressive views of mountains. Not to forget, the lushness of mother nature and pristinely environment; they nourish the richness of the Trek 

The history behind the Royal Trek
In the 1980s the trail was followed by the price of England – Prince Charles with 90 people under him. Hence, the trek was named as Royal trek. As the path beholds the footsteps of a royal personality, the trek is referred to as Royal Trek. The same trail was taken by another famous personality – Mick Zaggar, the vocalist of the band – The Rolling Stones. Hence, being the choice of such royal members and celebrities, the charm and glamor of this trek have increased.

This Trek is often regarded as a perfect trek due to the immense natural glory and mountainous beauty that the trail has to offer. The secluded path, lush hills, valleys, forests and impressive views of mountains, you will not get enough of the trek. Trek starts from the lakeside city of Pokhara. A scenic drive from Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway brings you to the city of Pokhara. From Pokhara, we start walking towards Kalikasthan. We pass various ethnic villages, lush hills, forests and farmlands on the way to Kalikastahn. Further, we walk to Syaklung enjoying the magnificence of snow clad mountains and then to Chisapani. Trip Itinerary

Welcome to Nepal. A representative from Eye on Himalaya Treks and Expedition P. Ltd will welcome you at the airport and transfer to a hotel in Kathmandu. For the remaining time, you can rest at your hotel and make yourself with the new environment. Tonight at Kathmandu

Today, as a part of your sightseeing day tour, you will be driven to different UNESCO listed heritage sites around Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, and Boudhanath stupa are included in today’s day tour. As you walk pass the streets of Kathmandu, you can pick some items of historical, cultural and religious importance from around the heritage sites as a souvenir back to hometown. Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel for a long drive to Pokhara city, another major city in Nepal. We drive for around six to seven hours along Prithvi Highway enjoying the wonderful views of countryside Nepal, lush hills, valleys, and rivers along our way. On reaching Pokhara city, you will be dropped at a hotel in Pokhara. In the evening, you can walk to lakeside Pokhara to admire the serenity of the lake and wilderness of mountains. After breakfast in the hotel, you will be driven to Bijaypur which is the actual commencement point of our trekking journey. It takes us around one hour to reach Bijaypur. From Bijaypur, we start our walk gradually via flat rice and paddy fields. We walk pass the fields and villages on the way to a river. We cross a bridge over the river and start descending down to the village of Kalikasthan. Tonight at Kalikasthan

Leaving Kalikasthan, we head towards the top of a forested ridge that traverse through some interesting villages like Thulokot and Mati Thana. We pass some teahouses on the way and climb up to Naudanda. From the top of the ridge, we can enjoy some impressive views of mountains like Annapurna range and Lamjung Himal. Beholding the views of mountains from the top of the ridge, we descend down via the dense forests of rhododendron to the village of Syaklung. Tonight at Syaklung

After breakfast in Syaklung, we follow the trail that passes through a Gurung and another ethnic village. A walk through the village is an opportunity to get close to people and know more about their culture, tradition, and lifestyle. Leaving the village, we traverse through the dense forests of rhododendron and Sal to get to Chisapani. Chisapani is a beautiful viewpoint from where we can enjoy some impressive views of Himalayan Panorama. Tonight at Chisapani.

From Chisapani, we start our journey back to the city of Pokhara. We descend down along a lush path with stunning views of mountains in the backdrop. On the way, we come across Rupa Tal. We climb up for around 200 meters from the lae to reach Sundare Danda. From here, we can enjoy some lively views of mountains and lakes. Fifteen minutes down from the Danda and we reach Begnas Tal. If interested, we can enjoy boating in Begnas Tal. At Begnas Tal, we end our trekking journey and hop on our ride that will drive us back to our hotel in Pokhara. Tonight at Pokhara.

Today, we take a scenic drive along the highway and return back to the capital city of Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at your hotel room in Kathmandu. You can relax at the hotel for the rest of the time. Tonight at Kathmandu
